The CUI-WA story began with Connie Zheng, an immigrant mother who moved from Guangdong, China, to Canada. Growing up in Guangdong, the heart of Cantonese cuisine, Connie was surrounded by yum cha culture, freshly made dumplings, steamed buns, and classic Cantonese comfort foods that shaped everyday family life. For her, Cantonese food was more than a meal; it was a way to connect, care, and share traditions.
After settling in Canada, Connie found it difficult to find truly authentic Cantonese food that matched the taste, texture, and quality she grew up with. While many options were available, few reflected the depth and soul of traditional Cantonese cuisine. Missing those familiar flavors and wanting to share them with her family, Connie decided to create something better.

That vision led to the creation of CUI WA, a brand dedicated to preserving traditional Cantonese culinary heritage while adapting it to modern Canadian lifestyles. By combining time-honored recipes, carefully sourced ingredients, strict food safety standards, and modern production techniques, CUI-WA delivers restaurant-quality frozen dim sum that is convenient, reliable, and delicious.
